Still 2020 Science Fair

January 17th – All Science Fair Projects are due and should be taken to the front lobby  

Remember to review these requirements for your project's display.
Please print and attach this entry form to the back of your project display.

January 22nd – All Projects will be judged and top 6 finishers chosen
January 24th – The Science Fair Recognition Ceremony for all participants will be held at 8:00am  

The winners will be announced and presented with a medal at the ceremony.  The winners will then register their projects for the Cobb-Paulding Regional Science Fair.

February 8th – Regional Participants will take their projects to Smitha Middle School @ 8:15am

We have just completed our Science Fair competition!! Wow! We had some AMAZING projects and the judges really had a tough time choosing this year! We would like to recognize all of the FIRST and SECOND place winners for all of their hard work.

WOW! Every one of the children that participated did an excellent job and we are confident that our students will definitely make their mark in the regional competition! I hypothesize that if we continue to encourage and support our students then next year’s Science Fair will be even bigger and better! 🙂 We thank each and everyone for participating in the Science Fair at Still Elementary.

Science Fair Update

January 22nd All Science Fair Projects are due and should be taken to the Media Center
January 23rd All Projects will be judged and a 1st and 2nd Place Winner will be identified from each grade.
January 24th Contact Parents of the Winners.
January 25th The Science Fair Recognition Ceremony will be held at 8:00am (right after the morning announcements).

The 1st and 2nd Place Winners will be acknowledged during the morning announcements. All participants will be recognized at the ceremony.

January 25th – 28th All 1st and 2nd place participants projects will be registered in order to move forward to the regional level.
February 9th Regional Participants will take their projects to Lovinggood Middle School.

Parents, we sincerely apologize for the late notice regarding all of the Science Fair information. We know that these projects can take time, and are very important to us as well as you and your children. However, this year we were not provided the final dates until late notice, which significantly impacted when we were able to notify you. Although we only have a short time, lets show them what our Still Students can do! Good Luck!

Science Fair 2019

Projects Due Tuesday, January 22nd in the lobby.

All participants will be invited to be on the morning news, receive a ribbon and be honored at a special ceremony on 1/24. 1st and 2nd place winners will move on to compete with other schools within our district. Please see the forms below for guidance on the entries.
